Liyab Esports is World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines’ newest gaming partner as they join the Now Loading: Gamers for Nature campaign.

Talents from the gaming league will stream League of Legends, Call of Duty, Mobile Legends, Dota 2, and Valorant playthroughs, encouraging fellow Filipino gamers to donate and provide aid for WWF-PH’s partner environmental frontliner communities. The upcoming leg of the series also aims to raise funds for the provision of 100 environmental education modules to Filipino students.

“Globe and Liyab Esports want to use our joint reach to bring more people together to help out worthy causes like this--and it's great that we can also provide much-needed entertainment in these uncertain times,” said DC Dominguez, Head of Globe Games and Esports.

Brian 'Neme' Victa, General Manager of Liyab Esports, shared how their team intends to use their platform to further help the environmental conservation efforts of WWF-PH.

“Liyab Esports' goals and missions have always been beyond just gaming and esports. We're glad to use our platform and influence to work with WWF-Philippines, gathering support and resources, and help teach the next generation of planet protectors via environmental education. Everyone from Liyab Esports welcomes the opportunity to help #ChangeTheEnding for our country and our planet,” said Victa.

“We understand the need for environmental education considering what's happening in our country recently and we're glad to offer our help to gather resources for the next generation to be equipped in protecting our home,” Liyab Content Creator Kel 'Nukella' Yuki added.

Kicking off the first wave of this leg are content creators Lance 'Kaigu' Hernandez, Eric 'Exosen' Gubatan, Jeshua 'Fofi' Ferrer, Kel 'Nukella' Yuki, and Yvenne Santos who will encourage their followers to donate by holding Valorant, League of Legends, and League of Legends: Wild Rift multiplayer battle arena streams on their respective Facebook pages.

WWF-Philippines is set to hold more playthrough streams and tournaments for the gaming community through our partners in the next few weeks to help #ChangeTheEnding for the environment. Stay tuned to WWF-Philippines’ official social media pages for the complete lineup and schedule.
