From extreme sports, to hosting adventure shows, to backpacking trips across the globe, television personalities Marc Nelson and Rovilson Fernandez share the same passion for excitement, adventure, and the great outdoors. It is no surprise that these ‘best buds’ channel their passion and enthusiasm for nature to the bigger, more important roles they play as the WWF-Philippines’ first National Ambassadors.

Since their appointment in October 2010, this dynamic duo has led various activities to create more awareness about the Philippine environment’s immense biodiversity and key conservation issues. These activities include immersing themselves in conservation trips, hosting WWF events, and participating in the organization’s worldwide campaigns like Earth Hour.

Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski

Filipina equestrienne and actress Mikee Cojuangco-Jaworski joined the WWF-Philippines family as the Climate Change Solutions Steward and the first female Earth Hour Ambassador. Having a big heart for the country and for the environment, Mikee uses her wide fan base to raise awareness about the organization’s Climate Change and Energy Program.

Luis Manzano

A long-time diver and certified lover of seas, WWF-Philippines Marine Conservation Steward Luis Manzano champions the organization's Marine Conservation Programs that include initiatives on sustainable fisheries plus food security, community-based ecotourism, and biodiversity conservation.

Iza Calzado

Iza Calzado

Multi-awarded film and television actress Iza Calzado-Wintle, is an earnest advocate of health and wellness who as one of WWF-Philippines’ National Ambassadors, dedicated to raising awareness and forwarding causes that aim to address climate change adaptation, environmental education, and sustainable living.

Outside her work as an actress and tv host, Janine Gutierrez promotes proper waste management in order to protect wildlife and their habitats. She has visited project sites in Donsol, Sorsogon as a Youth Ambassador working closely with WWF-Philippines’ National Youth Council where young students were taught about relevant species—like the local whale sharks!

Beauty and brains joins the Panda family with Miss Earth 2017 and now WWF-Philippines Ambassador Karen Ibasco, who has made it a steadfast mission to encourage the necessary transition towards renewable energy by supporting the organization’s Climate and Energy Program initiatives, amplifying calls against wasteful consumption that contributes to global warming and climate change.

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach encourages the conscious use of the country’s finite resources as a WWF-Philippines Ambassador who maintains her own everyday practices towards sustainability. Continuing to lead a life of purpose, she makes the most of her reach and influence to raise funds supporting environmental front liners and partner communities.

TV host Robi Domingo grew up in an environmentally conscious household that led him to practice sustainability, have love and passion for the outdoors, and become one of WWF-Philippines’ National Youth Ambassadors. He hosted a 9-part web series called Sustainably Yours, Robi to invite enthusiasm and active participation from young people through everyday eco-friendly activities.

KC Concepcion

Actress, host, and singer KC Concepcion uses her platform as a WWF-Philippines Ambassador to encourage sustainable cooking by presenting eco-friendly recipes that promote mindful consumption and support locally grown produce. She also channels her passion and advocacy for biodiversity by raising funds for conservation projects.

Frankie Pangilinan

Young singer-songwriter Frankie Pangilinan is one of the youngest WWF-Philippines ambassadors devoted to environmental education as well as the welfare of nature's frontline defense. She held a online #Conservatunes concert to raise funds for over 200 families in Donsol, Sorsogon—an ecotourism site that has suffered from the impacts brought by the global pandemic.

Bringing her joy and optimism to the cause, child actress and TV personality Xia Vigor is WWF-Philippines’ youngest ambassador who invites her fellow youth to #ShapeOurFuture by actively engaging in programs and learning more about how to take care of the environment through Camp Kalikasan to secure the future of the next generation.

WWF-Philippines Ambassador Enzo Pineda is an avid diver who has donated collectibles and fashion items for auction to support families near conservation sites, like the Ipo Watershed. Also a big plant enthusiast, he advocates for food security and raises awareness on proper urban gardening practices as seen on his 3-part online mini series #LetsAgriWithEnzo.
