Sharpened Travels for Earth

April 2017

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines has inked its partnership with leading travel agency Sharp Travel Service (Philippines) Inc. As one of the oldest travel and tour operators in the country, Sharp has decided to take a step further in raising awareness for ecotourism. They have approached WWF-Philippines in hopes of supporting its environmental and livelihood projects all over the country. For every booked cruise tour, Sharp Travel is donating five U.S. Dollars ($5.00) to WWF-Philippines, making their tours a platform which connects travelers to environmental conservation efforts.

The partnership signing was held in a casual Café Romulo in Jupiter Street Makati last 29 March 2017 with Ma. Lourdes Banzon, President and CEO of Sharp Travel Service meeting Joel Palma, President and CEO of WWF-Philippines. Accompanied by Ms. Banzon were Benjie Bernal and Roel Privado, officers of Sharp Travel Service (Philippines) Inc. All Corporate Partnerships Officers of WWF-Philippines were also present to witness the signing: Caitlin Jao, Miggo Bautista, and Kent Rebultan.
