Establishing Low Carbon Consumption and Production in the Philippines
Position: Finance and Administrative (FA) Intern/ Volunteer
Location: Based in Metro Manila, Philippines
Working with: Project team, Finance Unit of WWF Philippines
WWF is currently implementing a 3-year Project, Establish Low Carbon Consumption and Production in the Philippines with a focus on transforming foodservice, particularly dining establishments in key tourism destination cities around the country, into a low carbon industry.
THE ROLE
The FA Intern/ volunteer is under the direct supervision of the FA Project Officer under the project team and Finance Unit of WWF Philippines. The intern/ volunteer shall provide assistance and support to the F&A Project Officer in the following tasks:
- Preparing for financial audit (external) requirements and documentation;
- Ensuring complete filing of financial transactions including supporting documents;
- Review and reconciliation of project’s finance reports ;
- Filing of project documents i.e contracts/ agreements, activity reports, etc;
- Providing technical, finance and administrative support to the Project team; and
- Preparing project’s financial status and program reports, accomplishments and other related and relevant information as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Currently taking up or holds a Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance, or any business-related course.
- Skills and abilities. Strong MS Office and Excel skills with ability to multi-task. Good oral and written communications skills.
- Duration: Must be able to complete at least 240 hours of internship/ volunteer work and can work from Mondays- Fridays
- Start date: Must be able to start immediately
